Purchasing Contract Manager
Location: Hybrid Remote/Onsite (Hollywood Headquarters)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Minimum 2 days onsite)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Department Manager to oversee and manage contracts for goods, services, and materials. This hybrid position requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and experience with IT and construction contracts. The role involves managing contracts, vendor relationships, cross-department collaboration, and contributing to process improvements over the next 2 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and monitoring of contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, ITBs, ITQs) and facilitate cross-department coordination.
- Lead contract negotiations and vendor relations, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
- Supervise and mentor Contract Staff within the Purchasing Department.
- Develop and track KPIs to improve contract and supplier performance.
- Contribute to process improvements and system development in contract tracking.
- Travel as needed to reservations and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Contract Manager, with expertise in IT and construction contracts.
- Leadership experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Strong negotiation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Experience working with government contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and contract tracking systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License required; must be willing to travel.
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000/year (flexible for highly experienced candidates)
